Re: Do-it-yourself False Lashes
I usually take the lashes and wrap the sticky edge around my finger so it starts to curve. I will leave it there for a minute or so while I get my glue out or something else.
I will run the glue on the sticky part when I am ready.
I apply using a tweezer because I find it easier than using my fingers. Plus, I will hold the lashes in place with the tweezer for about a minute just to make sure they're not budging.
Brands...I use a lot of Ardell lashes...depending on the bride and what they want.
Re: Do-it-yourself False Lashes
Ardell and MAC ones are the only i've tried so far. I only get to use them 3-4 times a year though. Fake lashes are something I can't use on a daily basis.
Re: Do-it-yourself False Lashes
Loved them a lot at the pak weddings eh sehar :D
Me tooooooo!!!!!!!!! They just seemso hard to put on though!
Reha...do u trim them down too? Some r silly long!
Re: Do-it-yourself False Lashes
I mainly use Eyelure ones, for weddings though. Same process as what Reha also, except I go over the 'line' of the eyelashes with eyeliner on my eyes afterwards
Re: Do-it-yourself False Lashes
i suck at putting on false eyelashes. i've bought two or three brands i researched online but it's such a pain getting them to stay in place even if i wait 10 secs for the glue to get bit drier b4 i stick over my lashes. i have them but so far have been unsuccessful in mastering the art
Re: Do-it-yourself False Lashes
i have recenlt started using fake lashes and i am absolutely loving it .. i just applY on the outer corner of my eyes it looks more natural in this way by using my fingers and dab it with the bottom part of twizzer.. i usually put the eyeliner first ( looks more neat and natural this way) then put the glue on fake lashes wait for 3-4 secs and put as close as possible to the lashes, few coats of ur fav mascara and tadaaa you are done
Re: Do-it-yourself False Lashes
lol khawa. yes, i figured i'd try them for the upcoming events too :D
do any of you cut them?
Re: Do-it-yourself False Lashes
yeh i do it ^
Re: Do-it-yourself False Lashes
has anyone tried using the single or cluster ones instead of the full ones?
Re: Do-it-yourself False Lashes
I have, they are really fiddly and not easy to place at the right angle. Just go for full or outer ones.
Re: Do-it-yourself False Lashes
yeah...that's what I found too....they are harder to apply....but if done with patience and correctly they look more natural, no?
Re: Do-it-yourself False Lashes
I think it depends on which full lashes you buy. I buy ones that look quite natural because they are not too dense or long and they look good.
