I wanna get highlights, but don’t wanna pay the expensive price at salons…

anyone get store bought “do it at home” highlights, and did it by themself?

how did it turn o ut?

which brand is best? which shade is best on desi ppl?

At-home streaking/highlight kits don't give perfect results. Highlights require you to bleach sections of your hair before another colored is applied. At-home kits have bleach added to the color..and won't strip the hair shaft first off of it's color.. How about a hair tint instead?

I tried them at home once and it was a disaster. I was left with broad, bright orange streaks. No at-home kit can compare to salon results.

I found only funny shades in the tint:(

But they have such pretty colors.. aubergine, plum etc.

I was looking for blonde. It had silver, turquoise, violet lol. So want to get these again but my hair cant afford bleaching:(

It depends, If your hair is Jet black then its gonna take you a few goes to make it blonde. So you might aswell just get it done frm a salon.

dONT DO IT!!!! Unless you have professional products... overall do not take the risk... I speak from experience.
