I wonder if islamic channels run on islamic lines … now do you find any logic in women appearing on screen wd heavy makeup … exposing their hair n all stuff…n singing in praise of Islam or nasheeds or naat or wht ever it may b..
Secondly all programms running r wd music n diff rythms ..n many more unislamic acts related to advertismnt etc…
What do u think about such TV channels … I personally feel tht when a person cannot run an islamic channel on islamic lines it shld b closed instead of using unislamic ways to spread or teach about islam.

those channels who spread distorted Islam (lie QTV) will ofcourse follow distorted teachings and hence will deviate from the real values of Islam....

I do agree wd u ..... but plz directly dont jump to da conclusion tht Qtv gives distorted teachings ........ atleast they r doing somethng to teach islam....those individuals r better than us......few programmes r worthy of appreciation on Qtv as well...... who knows the individual effort in Qtv is more precious for Allah(saw) than our nightout prayers!! .....
Islamic cntry is diffrnt frm islamic channel....the soul prpouse of an islamic channl is to spread islam , Teachings of Prophet(pbuh), commands of Allah, teachings Quraan, hadiths, salat, khiraat, tajweed, reward for pious ppl.....heaven, punishmnt for sinner ...hell, about diff prophets(pbut) .... leading a pious n simplelife, removing misconceptions about Isalm ........n da list goes on n on...
If here the mufti says ys music is haram ....n evry progrm gives entry n exit wd diffrnt rythms of music...does it gives any sense????

Here im not targeting those mufti's or imam's or qhari's ....... i feel wht they r teaching is gud ...but they shld clearly say tht if the channel doesnt wrk on islamic lines they wont work for tht particualr channel.... da channel owner will then be forced to do his job or earn in accordance wd Islam ..... since Allah (saw) didnt ask us to spread religion through haram or unislamic means .....
Many amongst manknd through da ages used 2 make images n portraits of da pious amongst thm...... n as times n generations went by, the ignorant amongst thm would start worshipping these images of their deceased pious ancstors ......n thus involve thmslvs in the abomination of ‘shirk’! Thus Allah and His Messenger (pbuh) guided da belivrs to abstain frm making n glorifyng images n portraits........n thus eliminated da vry root tht might lead some amongst thm to da evil path of ‘shirk’!
B'coz da concept of cameras and photography is a tchnologicl dvlpmnt of man aftr da establishmnt of da Quran n da Sunnah....... there is a diffrnce of opinion amongst da scholars regarding its permissibility. The majority of the scholars of Islam are of da opinion tht photography in its itself is not forbidden in Islam..... b'coz it provides nothng but an exact reflection n mirror image of the creation of the Supreme Creator as opposed 2 paintings, images, or sculptures of an animate objects....... where there is a possibility tht man can make an imaginary addition/subtraction to da original creation of da Creator, and are thus strictly forbidden in Islam.
I would like to conclude response 2 thz post by saying tht here my intention is not to target a particular gender or a particular tv channel .....bt only discussing abt da current condition of our muslim brthrs who are running so called islamic channels.
If you watch the clip over again you will see that Dr Zakir Naik is not advocating the death penalty to people who leave Islam … rather he is saying those who leave Islam and “preach against it or promote their own view against Islam” is as good as treason. Not the people who go away silently leaving the religion.

PeaceTV may be entertaining for some and boring for others. Its primarily inspired by evangelical channels and just like them I doubt it will bring much good.

How is preaching against a religion and promoting one’s own views against a religion an act of treason? Muslim do it all the time against Christianity, Hinduism and for that matter every other religion. Even Muslim converts become involved in preaching and in the process criticise other religions. Nothing wrong with that and world accepts this as a fundamental right of every human being to convert, profess and propagate their religion.
What is wrong however is Zakir Naik issuing death edict against such people. This is terrorism.
