Re: Do Indians say "Yaar"

moin.ul.atiq's great grandpa rajput smith pai invented the word yaar before kala hindoo stole it.

Re: Do Indians say "Yaar"

Re: Do Indians say "Yaar"

well ya can see it in Punjabi too, for e.g the song ' Nach nach kay Yaaar man.wan gaa ' and in many bollywood flicks , a typical use will be , Hero to side hero ' CHal aj say tu mayra Yaar hai ' . And in proper urdu sense as well , where ya find a term ' Yaar.ay Gaaar ( friend of cave ) ' , a title use for Hazrat ABU Bakar ( R.A) !

its all over the place matey !

Re: Do Indians say "Yaar"

Even I am surprised at times, even the mohaverey (proverbs) & galliya are same on both sides of the border. "Dal khor", bhen*d, mad, **, salla, **, 'nach na janey angan tera.

Indian's use a few new words such as KLPD, KL and I hear Pakistani's use the
word 'ABCD'. These are not used on both sides - all the rest are still commonly used on both sides of the border.

Re: Do Indians say "Yaar"

Ever heard of indian movie called "Yaraana"
and its song
"Aye Yaar sun, Yaree teri..."

Re: Do Indians say "Yaar"

Bachchoo tu kabhi milay ga na to teri gori chamree kee jootiyaan bana'oon ga.

Karachi walay, kam uz kum, dil kay kalaay nahin hotay, lahorion kee tarah

Re: Do Indians say "Yaar"

KLPD is a common slang in Karachi from 80's

Re: Do Indians say "Yaar"

Yeah Indians, like Pakistanis use the word "Yaar" quite frequently.
youngsters(including me!) like to mix Hindi/urdu with English and speak lines like "Yaar i told you" "yaar, howz you" "i dont know yaar" blah blah blah!!!

but then queer has revealed our darkest truth, that we kaalay(we Hindus are actually a tribe from the jungles of Africa) stole it from the Royal family of Moin Paaji, the true blue white Pakistani, who sometimes becomes Turks,Arab,Italian,Greek,Latino etc etc depending on his mood.

Re: Do Indians say “Yaar”

Karachians r not wala shala. its just muslims in india r yeh wala or wo wala.
many karachianz r migrated. some from Punjab, some from NWFP, n many from India, n its a province of sindhiz so they dont need to migrate to sindh since they already live there.
if pakistaniz migrated from south of indian then u may see insertion of more black pigment in their skin.

n for dehli part. no i never been to dehli but i have frndz from dehli (or new dehli) :snooty:

Re: Do Indians say “Yaar”

zobia yaar, ur mistaken. karachiwalay are mostly UPwalay and biharwalay. NWFPwalay arent kalay.

just to quote a famous karachiwala,

:nuch:

Re: Do Indians say "Yaar"

Uncalled for brother! Lahori are just as much our brothers as Karachi people. I was born in Karachi and its very close to my heart; but so are people from the rest of Pakistan.
