this is a question that irks me, a lot.
as i am not a boy and i am not the one who pre judges people, that quick.
maybe an older guy is more sensible, mature, decent, responsible.
maybe a younger guy needs mothering, correcting, admonishing, & controlling the teen ager like invincibility and irresponsibility-oriented attitudes towards most things they take rather very non-seriously.

then, maybe again, older guys act irresponsibly.

the range is only 2 years older, 2 years younger, maximum.

sometimes, traditions are so ingrained in our minds, that we blindly follow them, so we have girls who are always younger than their husbands, in Pakistani and Muslim sosieties. that, could mean that there is this motivation to control the younger spouse. but, some husbands can be really nice, either way and kind and loving to their wives.
others , can never be nice.

certainly, the idea here is not to condone a marriage that borders on oddity or worse, immorality - like a 40 yeas old marrying a 20 years old.

but what do guys think of it, if their engagement of marriage is with a 2 years old women than themselves?
do they find that age difference easy to handle.
please discuss?

For no logical reason at all, I think that I would be uncomfortable if married to a girl even a couple of months older than me.

doesnt bother me personally, but it might bother family, ancestors etc.. u know buzurgwaar community, if girl is older than the guy..

in past i've liked girls that were 2-3 years older than me, it didnt bothered me that its hard to understand that, live with them etc.. if their age is more, and they know more, it doesnt bother me..

They're all here. They're waiting to meet me", my mother informs me gleefully. Expectedly, "they" turn out to be seemingly infinite numbers of aunts, all chattering, and all dressed in shalwar kameezss ,saris of the brightest shades of every colour you can think of. Panic hits, as I scan the room, looking for any sign of something, somebody who can get me out of this, or at least a fellow victim, in the hope that there will be strength in numbers. Where are the men when you need them the most? And I realize that they're probably doing what I would've done if I'd thought with my head straight -- sleeping with the air-conditioning on in the next room.then what happpened i dont know ....

I am older than my beloved husband by about 3 yrs. Oh The Horror!!! lol!!!

we actually have the most loving relationship you could imagine.

And if you think about it, this is actually better since women tend to have longer life spans than men. We are TRULY life-long partners, both having about the same life expectency!!

I have to say too that we married when we were older, both mature and sure in our knowledge of what we wanted in a partner, what we wanted out of life. When you're young, you have expectations too but the tendency is to say "well there's time to change him/her".

And just to top things off. I am pretty slim and pretty tall. But I weigh 15 pounds more than my hubby and I am 3 inches taller.

I wouldnt trade him though for anyone, not even Sean Connery or Brad Pitt, I know I have the BEST (sorry gals) and he's mine-all-mine.

personally it will bother me a lot if a guy is younger then me---eww thats like being with a kid ewww..... If he is even 2 years older that will bother me too. I need someone who is more mature etc- but i dont like difference of 10 years either :D - I know other people think differently etc but it does matters to me

Anywayz this mehndi that i went to the other day...

guy is 5 years younger then girl :) .... and they seem to enjoy every moment so far :)....

If you are a man, regardless of age, you should try your utmost to procure the youngest -- as young as the law of the land would allow -- woman possible for marriage. Older insecure women with wrinkly skin and crow's feet will call you a dirty old man and cradle robber; their men, pussified by the wrath of the so-called 'strong modern" wife, will scorn you too in public, but will furtively high-five you and willingly sit around a bon-fire to listen to the great raconteur -- which is you -- about the stories of your conquest, and live vicariously through you before reluctantly heading home to the insufferable crone at home.

Hint: A recent poll, taken among men of all ages, shows that men would rather be in Hugh Heffner's shoes, the founder of Playboy and known for his lasciviousy risque lifestyle -- the dude is, like, 80 and changes GFs every month, than that of the US President, the most powerful man in the world.

dopedopedope. ok so you have a career and a wife 15 years younger. You get home from a hard day and she has no clue whatsoever about what your day could possilbly have been like. She spent the day at the gym and getting her nails done. So if you want to relate something, anything about your day, good luck unless you want to talk about what you ate for lunch and what fashions your secretaries sport.

May you be so blessed as uncle Hugh in your endeavors but alas this is more a pipe dream and not reality for 99 point 99 percent of the human race!!!

Well i married a white convert and he is 13 yrs older than me and i wouldnt have had it any other way. I always wanted some1 older than me. Not only did he totally embrace islam, he was totally established financially and he just knows how to handle me. He has a real calm sexy manner abt him and he loves the fact that i am younger than him plus he knows there is no way that i'll age quicker than him-as it is a fact that women age faster than men. I certainly didnt want to b with some1 where in 20 yrs i'll end up looking like his mother rather than his wife!

My husband is 6 yrs older then me but if i had met a boy or if my Hubz was younger then me i would'nt bother that. Age is just a number.
And i think that the older one meaning family that they bother about it
if a girl is older then the boy is typical desi thing.
