Do flowers and candy really come in handy?

Guys, how often do you give your woman (wife, girlfriend, fiance) flowers?

Girls, do you like the flowers-and-candy thing? Or is it just a formality now?

i dont like flowers (as a gift ) if someone give them to me...its like some times if i pas by some flower shop...so i will buy one rose for me...

I LOVVVVVVVVVVVVE flowers...red and white roses...sooo pretty. But I have come to realize the importance behind a few amazing gifts vs lots of flowers.

Candy...is my weakness. I get weak in the knees around exquisite chocolate.

flowers, depends , sometimes every week sometimes monthly..i dont have a schedule so sometimes more time passes than I realize, like right now its been over a month I think.
personally, I like to get them every 2 weeks they add something to the home.

chocolates are less often, we have an entire treasure of chocolates in the house, so we dont need any more to add to it. :D

Im not sure about that Kinzz lekin I do know the color of roses depends on the occasion and soemtimes relationship. Like red for love, yellow for friendship, white for funerals, etc.

TLK, thats a lot of flowers! Lottery lagi hai kya?

Thats nice…flowers every so often in the home just adds a little something. This is true.

But Im talking about flowers specifically for the wife.

I like receiving flowers from the hubs, it makes me feel special because i know he made the trip specially to the flower shop with the niyaat of bringing me flowers. I have never gotten chocolates from him though but he does bring me a brownie or something equally delicious sometimes. Does that count?

I am not buying the flowers for the front door or my TV, :P they are especially for the wife and they add something to the house, lets just say I never brought flowers home when I was single.

I think it’s better to give them when we don’t expect them. Every x days/weeks/months is such a formality…there’s no spontaneity.

Have ladies ever given flowers to that significant man in their lives? I did once…errr lets just say it caught him off guard and he was a little freaked out…but nevertheless appreciated the gesture.

No I don't get her flowers, candy or a gift unless its a special occasion. She gets all "shaki" if I do it spontaneously.

It's truly a luvely surprise and treat whenever my fiance has gotten me flowers.... hasn't been often ... but that has made them all the more special :D First time was when I graduated. Then when he came over to my house for brunch the day following our engagement, he got me pink roses! Then again was for this past Valentines Day ... red roses!

I actually dried all of them and they are arranged in vases around my apartment for sentimental reasons. :@:

He also sent my mother a huge bouquet of roses in her favorite color on her birthday recently!! It was the first time she has ever received flowers and she was all sorts of aaweeeeeeeeeee and felt so special!

Fiance has never gotten me chocolate since I don't really like it that much. I know I am crazy. But he is a chocolate fiend so I have definitely gotten him chocolate from time to time. Plus I like to bake him chocolate brownies and chocolate cookies from scratch.

IMO - flowers and candy come in handy to give the other person that "warm fuzzy" feeling inside :D Thats just me tho. lol

Oh i would love flowers or chocolates. Got a bunch of tube roses recently when i announced i love their fragrance(the first time i received flowers:halo:)
