The obsession with staying out of the sun particularly for desi girls in our culture, is more for staying ‘white’ rather than for health reasons, which is pretty pathetic. Khair, even Thai people are like this too. Personally, I think Filippinos tan the best.

erm hiccup sweety i do understand there are degrees to golden but i was just thinking how someone with the complexion of MehnazQ can become a nice golden...she describes her complexion as some sort of olive complaxion...which i just cant understand. shes a plain brown complexion, how the hell that can be seen as olive i dont understand.

I love the olive skin colour of Israeils and Arabs. Woah! :love: Anything darker tanned and I don’t like it.

Anyway, I don’t like to stay out in the sun for too long either. It gives me migraines and I don’t like to tan. I just like my skin colour as it is. Its me

I never claimed to be olive and I am far from it. I’m already naturally brown as you said from some pictures you have seen of me … where you saw photos of me, I really don’t want to know. It is possible to have a more bronzish tan … you tan differently in the caribbean since the degree and strength of the sun is different closer to the equator as opposed to here in north america. I liked it, even if others don’t.

Hiccup, yes, I can see Naomi shopping for Fair & Lovely, but that is only if she was of South East Asian descent.

i dont tan, becuase i dont need to. My butt looks like tanned golden brown, like sauteed onions in olive oil. And i know it (my butt) has never seen the light of day. Desis dont need to tan.....we are naturally tanned.

But call me sell out, but i like it when gora girls get really tanned and the way their blonde hair stands out.....ummmm

I am out in the Sun all the time lady. Its called driving to work in a car with no AC, and no tinted windows one hour each way.

one day i tanned fro morning till dark and the next day my colleagues could not recognise me. they recognised me from my voice. HAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAA...
