I so wanted to have a simple ceremony and keep all the money saved for later activities like a very long honeymoon and stuff but my hubby’s parents didn’t let us.

My sisters and I hate gold but mum developed a liking for it during our stay in the arab land. It's a good investment I guess, the jewellery mum bought from KSA still looks good as new and is worth many times more than what she bought it for. But still, my sisters and I have never liked it and don't plan on buying any for our veyas.
