alright guys need your help, there was fire at the datacenter and my server is dead!
i need to redirect everyone to the temp page i have. i have successfully redirected the main domain, but the most important part of the website needs to be redirected which are the /forums/
is there any way i can do that within my registrar??

It all depends on what the host offers. Some of them let you forward the whole domain to another (where you have setup the temp page). Let me know where ur hosted (PM me if u don't wanna broadcast) and I can give you more detailed info.

Iam hosted on theplanet, and I am using namecheap as registrar so only have access to DNS settings from namecheap.. if I use their URL forwarding, only allows me to redirect my main.com not the /forums..

a simple HTTP redirect at your home page would have also done the trick without any config changes
