i have a friend…shes getting marreid next year…and she wants to order few things from dmi-india…i’v told her about my experience on ordering online but she wont lisun to me…jus wanted to ask if any of you guppies ordered summit from here or know anybody who has ordered from here…

DMI has a nice link where you can read reviews from people who have bought from them, and see pictures of what their outfits looked like too.
One bad online experience should not make you averse to all other online vendors. I've ordered online many times (80% of all my shopping is online, this includes books, electronics, gadgets, etc) and it's fantastic. I couldn't live without online shopping; makes my life much easier. Bad experiences should teach you what to watch out for so next time you can figure out a trust-worthy site from one that is not. Always check for user reviews and ratings, and if you really want to try out a vendor that you're not sure of, make a small purchase, and see what kind of service they provide. Just as there are bad brick-and-mortar stores, there are also bad online stores.

I ordered this suit for £70 pounds from DMI it was very simple with a little kaam and the duppata had a silver diamante clasp which I thought looked really cute. However when I got my suit it looked similar to the picture on the net but it wasnt the same. It was a cheap copy, and instead of the silver clasp in the centre of the duppatta, they had put cardboard in there twisted the duppatta around it and put silver sequences on for the diamante effect...I could have done it better at hme. They post their suits from calcutta they do have some good feedback on their website., but this ws my experience. What I got wasnt worth the amount i paid i could have got it made for £10 in Pk. I dont know about ur friend but this is my experience, so I thought I share it with all of you. Books and cds etc non clothing stuff are good to get of the net including make up if you alrerady know your colours, on a personal note I am going to stay away from clothes shopping of the net.

I do most of my shopping online (especially for Indian dresses). I just ordered one dress for $239 from dmi-inda.com. First of all it arrived in 2 months. Finally when I received it, I was shocked to see it. So cheap material not even close to what I ordered. Thy post really nice images on the website but the product they ship out it’s NOT EVEN close to what the show in the images. As I said I spent $239 at this site and could have that “CHEEP” dress in twenty dollars. When I asked for refund they sent me the reply with “cut and paste” from their site REFUND/EXCHANGE POLICY. If someone pays for something, they undoubtedly EXPECT the quality and *atleast *the ITEM that they ordered. Simply, the images that are posted on their website is what they are supposed to deliver, otherwise they should not be posted there. This site is FRAUD and they are misleading customers. Be Aware!!

yeh i wouldnt shop at dmi, you should know that you are gonna get what you pay for... those dresses are amazing and if u were to really get those dresses at those prices, it would be a huge bargain. you should know better and expect that people are gonna rip u off with the quality of the fabric.

id prefer you stay on the safe side and not order anything this expensive online. you're probably not going to get the exact copy, i mean thats how these sites make money. they show you one thing but send out something else.

I own online Indian Jewelry store and it’s been my first priority that I ship out the same product that I post the image on my online store. If I don’t have the item in stock I simply refund the money. May be that’s why I expected dmi-india to do the same for me. But too bad…These kind of people make all online bossiness look bad.

And I still have not heard anything back.. except a couple of emails where you kept saying how your karigars aren't around or you don't have electricity. And the two price quotes you sent were sky high hun. Not even a designer would charge so much for an outfit.

hi,wish i had read this before,i have been ripp off by this fraud DMI-india fashion,i paid 800 us dollars for sarees and they sent me trash of 500 indian rupees and afterwards they just dont know you,all mails are ignored and u automatically receive see terms and conditions.so order anywhere but not from FRAUD DMI-INDIA FASHION,bollywood pictures are here exploited big time and this company is fraud nr 1 online,so throw your money anywhere but not on this fake online shop or you will pull your hair off,by being cheated big time.........................
