DLF - Indian Premier League

Re: DLF - Indian Premier League

^ I hate batta bowlers :aj: usko aaj Delhi ke chorre dhoeynge

lekin ajj tou mumbai ka match nahin hai
n bhajji aint playing anywayz…

Coz Punjab were playing at Mumbai and the fans were partisan. They gave Punjab a lot of stick throughout the game. In the end Yuvi’s celebration was in a way him letting off some steam. :D]

Re: DLF - Indian Premier League

The Pakistani Duo of Kamran Akmal 56 in 28 balls and Sohail Tanvir 3-33 won the match for Rajasthan Royals.

Re: DLF - Indian Premier League

Kolkata vs Punjab

Kings XI Punjab have won the toss and they will bat first. The man to look out for would be Ajantha Mendis, the mystery spinner from Sri Lanka who's turning out for the Kolkata Knight Riders for the first time. He grips the ball in the most unusual manner, mixes it up, so Punjab better pay close attention. He mesmerized West Indies in his one-day debut recently. Even I had difficulty figuring him out while on commentary

Re: DLF - Indian Premier League

KKR were down n out ..

Gangualy won it for KKR ........ (wid lil but important contribution by Umer gul in the end)

Re: DLF - Indian Premier League

Kolkata were celebrating in the end like they had won the World Cup! Hugs n' high 5's.

Re: DLF - Indian Premier League

Gul chaa geya ! :k: 4 wickets for 23… and then 24 runs with 3 sixes and 1 four to brig life back to the KKR.

I other news, Sohail Tanvir is now the highest wicket taker with the best economy figures in the IPL tournament. :k:

I wish our batsmen had some highlights - but no such luck.

yesterday match was thrilling but also heartbreaking match for aamchi Mumbains :hehe: i reallyyyy enjoyed the match and jumped on my bed when the last ball was delivered and they were running to win coz I wanted to see Delhi Daredevils in the semi finals:omg:yesterday I had promised my friends if Mumbains lose today i’ll give them party, aaj unki aish ho gaye :hehe:

Re: DLF - Indian Premier League

all set for the GRAND FINALE

Finally the toss is happening, Shane Warne and Mahendra Singh Dhoni are the men who matter. Lalit Modi is with the captains, as is the match referee Javagal Srinath.

Modi's tossing the coin, Warne calls heads and a heads it is. Rajasthan continue to stick to their plan of bowling first. They've done it consistently during the tournament.

As expected Rajasthan have replaced the injured Smith with Akmal and Rawat with Niraj Patel.

Chennai Super Kings are fielding an unchanged side from the team beat Punjab in the semi-final.

Re: DLF - Indian Premier League

AFTER 10 overs - Chennai Super Kings 75/2

Re: DLF - Indian Premier League

Yousaf got 3rd wicket of match ..
was quite economical
Yusuf Pathan
4-0-22-3

Re: DLF - Indian Premier League

There was a collision b/w akmal n kaif while taking the catch of yousaf's delivery ...
Kaif is gone ... Akmal is hurt. They might need a replacement keeper but they can't get a keeper from the dug out according to the rules. Kaif's face made impact with Akmal's knee. Warne's having a word with Dhoni.

Akmal still keeping

Re: DLF - Indian Premier League

Good knocks from Parthiv, Raina and Dhoni helped the Superkings to 163. Yusuf Pathan was impressive, picking up 3/22 in his spell, pulling things back for the Royals. This one's a two-paced track and the outfield isn't lightning quick either so 163 can prove to be a good score.

Re: DLF - Indian Premier League
