DIY stage

This is the stage I did for my sis mehndi, What you lot think? Balloons tend to be tacky but I thought they finished it off nicely. The jhoola is from our garden lol.

I have a full view of it but that pic isn’t on my computer and I dont have scanner.

Re: DIY stage

It looks like the setup is made for the pic:)

Re: DIY stage

Thanku, I dont think the stage is brilliant, but we went to some stage decorators and all the stages were absolutely disgusting, just the usual dark green and yellow cheapo silk, and they were charging stupid money for crappy stages. So I tought hey I can do a better job myself, plus we matched all the table set up and table flowers and candles etc the end result looked good, I have pics but not digital.

Re: DIY stage

Looks great. Saima - did you put the material up in the background yourself as well? cos it looks good - how did you set the cream material like that?

Re: DIY stage

Green fabric big pleats, cream fabric small pleats at one end, you cant see the orange fabric that was the nicest. A few big rolls of fabric and an electric staple gun did the job. the cussions and the lining on the jhoola I sewed.
