An actress who would have been a superstar today if she was alive…her death is still a mystery…god knows whether she was killed, whether it was an accident or suicide?..
She was an attractive woman and was very sweet, the way she spoke n all that…its soooo sad that she died at a very young age…her funeral video made me sooo depressed…I felt as if I lost someone close…R.I.P

These pics are prolly around 15 years old. The hair/makeup/photography all from back then. That is probably why you don't find them so appealing.

Ye she was my favorite too. I totally agree, she was a threat to the stars of her generation. She would have been the next superstar.
She was drunk at her house party and fell off the balcony from 7th or 9th floor.
...but that was in '92 I think....what reminds you of her?

I didn’t watch most of her movies but I remember I was in grade 9 when she died - and the next morning as a prank during the school assembly, a group of students requested a minute of silence for her death - should’ve seen the look on the principal’s face! 
needless to say whenever I hear her name, that’s the moment that comes to my mind.

I've only seen her movies Deewana but I still remember her.. She was also scheduled to star in Laadla with Anil Kapoor (Sridevi), Hulchul with Ajay Devgan (Kajol) and Mohra with Akshay Kumar (Raveen Tandon).. And some otherz..
There are many many rumours about cause of death.. Some people say that Sridevi was behind all this.. Divya was a threat to her.. People say she also resembled Sridevi in a way.. Other people claim it was her own husband Sajid Nadiadwala who also had connections with the underworld.. And some say it was suicide (I personally dont think it was suicide).. Still a mystery.. We'll never know..
Some people even claim that Om Shanti Om was made for a reason (Shahrukh's idea).. Re-birth.. Revenge etc etc.. Read about this at youtube.. dont really know what to think about that..!

I think that in those times when they used to make a cake/pastry out of a woman, Divya Bharti still looked cute...i didn't know anything about acting or movies at that time since i was a kid but i used to like her...and i am sure she would have been at the top if she was alive today..

Suicide, was murdered (because of competition/being married to a muslim), got drunk and fell off the balcony, all these rumors floated around for a while after her death.
