People don't work hard enough anymore to keep their relationships going.
What does working hard enough mean?
Compromises to a point where you have no individual existence left or bearing physical/mental abuse? Or living with a partner who doesn't want to be with you?
Every marriage has different dynamics and pulling out a generalized statement like that is pretty silly IMO. You never know what circumstances the couple were experiencing. So just sitting and passing comments like these is very unfair.
