I hope I am not wrong , but if the man decides to separate , put some witness in, and they don't sleep together for 3 months , then its considered divorce . But if you mean that they say 'divorce divorce divorce' and next minute going all bunny on each other , then its not a divorce .

Do read Surah'a talaq by yourself and research a bit more .

I think what she's asking is that **if you are divorced, can you and your divorcee still live under one roof **and the answer is "yes" you can.
