is that valid? .......... i was watching some video ............ how some people give divorce to girls just cos she is reproducing girls only........... is such divorce valid ? ....... i mean its a stupid reason to divorce someone ....... so stupid reason or valid reason a man has an authority to divorce wife anytime he wants? ...........
maybe one invalid reason to one person maybe valid for another. people get married/divorced for a variety of reasons, everyone has their own tolerance level for different things.
I know someone who married another just to help them out with their green card status, as soon as that goal was achieved, they “divorced”. And for them that was a valid reason to be “married” and carry a whole fake wedding and pics to show as proof to court. Till this day this person counts this marriage as a valid marriage and counts it on her books as being a divorced person. My point is, we may not always understand what others do, because we don’t think like them.
as far as your specific question is concerned, people who tend to prefer one gender of another is just sad. they fail to see that a woman can be just as accomplished as a man, if not more. some people believe that your anatomy is everything, not the person you can grow into. they forget that if it weren’t for a woman, they wouldn’t have been ever born to begin with. and not to mention the fact that when a woman becomes pregnant, the gender is decided by the MAN’s sperm, it has nothing to do with the woman. in instances where he does impregnate another woman it turns out to be a boy, is pure coincidence, not a guarantee.
so the joke’s on this dude for wanting a divorce for reproducing only girls. 
Divorce is valid even if it is pronounced as a joke. So whether it is for a reason we might think is valid or not it would still be binding. For instance giving 3 divorces in one sitting is wrong but its consequences still apply.

So what happens if the person gave it in anger?
After all, the person is human and fallible.
I find this logic very hard to accept.
Shouldn’t the bigger concern be why does someone want to stay with a person that wants to divorce them?
Why fight it? If one person wants out, why does the other want in?

yeah i heard such cases to… where a guy/gal imported their cousin from back home … i mean like what kind of morals such families have… when they nikahfy their daughter to some cousin “just to import him here for nationality”??? … mazaaq bana diya he shaadi ka n divorce ka bhi … then such girls marry again someone here n play victim card look how we were pressurized to marry a cousin back home in pind by parents rishtedaar n all… n guys think they are actually bechaaris ablaa naaris n marry them… seriously … u being independant n were forced??? … huh !!! …

those guys who are abusing this right/authority for stupid reasons r begairats … mazaq banaya hua he kuch logo ne in hceezo ka waise… if Allah has given them this power then they should use it wisely …but kuch logo ka tu damaagh kharab ho gaya he … but at the end of the day Allah knows they did wrong so consequences of thheir stupidity will apply also …
