I have known personally desi women who have done this during divorce:

• Hurt themselves and then call the police and say that the husband hit her. Got the husband arrested and then got a restraining order so that the husband could not come close to the house. She then proceeded to sell all the furniture and belongings, emptied the bank accounts while the husband sat in jail.

• Pretend to makeup with husband and call them over to the house, have consensual [EMAIL=“s@x…and”]s@x…and then afterwards call the police and have husband arrested for spousal rape.

^ The abuse bit is important. If there were claims of physical abuse, police reports, that sort of thing, I think it’s important to note. A woman truly abused and wanting to get rid of the guy will tell the judge “he abused me”, and those details, I’d think, WOULD be in the court system’s records since they notate everything that is said in the proceedings.

It means nothing PCG…trust me it means nothing.

WOmen are not innocent in divorce proceedings either. They will make up stuff, lie, cheat, steal, etc make him look horrible.

My ex-husband actually cleaned out my apartment and then tried to sue me for it…

I know a woman who milked her husband like a cash cow for yearssssss…kept him hanging in court because they had two daughters together.

I know another woman who got everything her husband was worth because they had a daughter together (hundreds of thousands of dollars)…and then blew it all in a year.

Divorce records only show a bloody battle fought by bitter people who are not in their senses AND being encouraged by ruthless lawyers who get paid to do this. Its RARELY the truth.

In the US 70% + divorces are initiated by women.

Since society has more sympathy for women it automatically presumes that these divorces are a consequence of abuse or infidelity on part of the husband. Upon closer inspection it turns out that that majority of women file for divorces because they begin to feel* unfulfilled* (!) with their lives and wanted to know whats out there (how sweet) or they felt they deserve a better man, etc.

The system favors women throughout. A woman has to give no reason to seek a divorce, and since the vast majority of women earn less than and have less wealth than their husbands it means there are only positive financial outcome for them. Separated from kids, the husband is financially devastated: his assets are usurped, he is stuck paying child support and alimony. His future dating, relationship marriage prospects are bleak.

Meanwhile divorced women start dating new more 'fulfilling men' (pun intended) in no time. Just go on a dating website to see what I'm talking about. This is big picture of divorce industry in the US.

Men are actually a lot more reluctant to seek divorce even if their wives are the ones who cheated because they'll be screwed financially regardless. And just for everyone's information, the proportion of women who cheat is the same as, if not more than men's.

Obviously, I'm not talking about desi women. They have a lot of catching up to do. Go girls you're awesome !
