Talk about harmony. In the previous sarcastic comment, harmonium bhai sahab totally side lined Urdu speaking, indirectly implying that all urdu speaking are synonymous to MQM supporters.

No we don't need division of Sindh. Karachi is the problem, divide this city in to five cities and let every one live in peace. Revive old local government system as very recently apporved by PA.

Really I am sick of repeatedly hearing nonsense of division of Sindh on ethinic basis. We need brotherhood and harmony among different cummunities, not further polarization what this mqm kid is suggesting. This kind of fitna will never stop, kub tak batwara kartay rahogay?

Seems like its OK to divide karachi and it does not hurt the harmony, but its a sin to create small units outside Karachi as it hurts the harmony
BTW, I am all for even dividing Karachi whenever we are making more provinces. Karachi is too big of a city to manage in small resources...

As in previous posts, Urdu-speaking people make up 48% of Karachi.
But of course everyone in Karachi, and Pakistan speaks Urdu alongside their native language.

btw, topic of division of Sindh maybe your emotional spot but creating boundaries based on heritage and culture does not divide people, it helps to promote culture and brings the best out of communities. Look at India, they are still dividing based on cultural influence and I think they are doing pretty good.

What do you mean by dominant. and what are Sindh Urban areas where Urdu is dominant. I think except for Karachi and to a some extent in Hyderabad, Sindhi is the language spoken in streets by common ppl.

Pelase search the topic of Quota system in Sindh and you will find out the cities that were outlined by your leaders as Urdu speaking cities. I think they were karachi, Sukkur, Thatta and Hyderbad (and one or 2 more)

I visited Thatta many times and I don't have to communicate in Urdu at any place. same goes true for Sukkur.

We are fighting in two provinces already with our own people.

I don't support division of Sindh just for Sindhi-Urdu language difference? If this is really the suitable and justifiable reason, then it is more appropriate to divide Karachi into more than one city based on different languages spoken in different parts of city.
