Aww thanks. Actually I did check the threads on this page before opening this one. I guess I missed the sticky part 
Thanks anyway. But I guess if anyone does, people should still come and tell us how are they spending their zakaat this year. It could always inspire us to do something in a better way.

Well, Before starting of the month of Ramadhan, Lots of Charity Association place their banner to support needy family for the whole of month of ramadhan as well as for eid in a specific amount. Some other associations send these amount to Syria, Lebanon, Afghanistan, and many other countries where even you cant find water too.
Some Charity Association build or reconstruct the houses of needy ++ more my dad send money to needy relatives i.e. widowed back in Pakistan.
I think it is a good idea to share how one gives Zakat so the others also can benefit from this information.
