yes…but NOT parents…if you have just the Zakaat money then you must give that money to your closest ones first…but, if you have other money as well, then you may consider giving money from sadaaqaat fund to your closest ones first then use zakaat money…it’s my way of giving zakaat and sadaaqaat…it’s NOT religiously binding at all.
