Disrespecting the Prophet

Salman, from your nick I can gather you are in the US. There is something called the freedom of speech there, I am not debating whether its right or wrong. However, if you dont like it, you should take a hint and go back to some country where you think you can bash people's brains for saying stuff. This also applies to some people who are eager to move to Amreeka, britain and then curse its policies etc. If I choose to move to a different country, I will not move to one whose policies I hate, and intend to defy.

Spock, you answered everything except the question I asked you about do you get mad if somone (kh?uda na karaye) curses your mothers or sisters or play with their izzat ? do you get mad on that ?
-Salman

As i've said before, if someone disrespects the prophet, the matter should be taken to the court where the judge will look at both sides of the story and then decide.
And if someone comes to me and starts saying stuff about my family, i'll ask him for proof, and if he cant bring any then i'll ask him to shut up.

Lunatic, that is an excellent approach, by bringing the person to the judge. I agree with you there. But you missed my post where i said what if the persons disrespects and plays with the izzat of your mother and sister publicly (god forbids). What would you then ? And what would you when a person does the same for prophet mohammad :saw: publicly ?

Salman, why do you bring me into a trivia? I am not an example for mankind to follow am I? There are times I feel like punching the lights out of a person, and I have done so alot of times, but I regret that, its like lowering yourself to the status of animals, which is not what Islam teaches.

why is it that people who talk about respect show none to others?? why is it that people who clalim to be Prophet's defenders come up with the most revolting, ill conceived and vulgar examples to make their point?

when it comes to the prophets dignity all cyber jihadis get their undies in a knot and grab their knives to go on a throat slitting spree but when it comes to listening to the Prohpet's message, the very reason he was given the messenger status .. they draw blanks..

it's just great.. love the messenger.. just ignore his message ..

Exactly... Some very vulgar and ill conceived examples were used here to make a point. Very sad indeed.

very funny and sad indeed: telling others to respect the Prophet -without stating clearly the boundaries of what is respect and what is not; apart from subjective statements, but then everyone can accuse the other of disrespecting- but in the meanwhile slitting throats to force the other to respect....doesn't make sense
