This is a general message for some members (not mentioning them) who I feel are disrespecting hazrat Muhammad (sallallahu alayhi wasallam). I have noticed that a few members are in a way disrespecting Hazrat Muhammad (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) by this constant referring to them as the prophet.
It’s important for us to send blessings upon them and there are numerous hadees which state one should send blessings upon them after mentioning their blessed name. But there are members who don’t seem to say sallallahu alayhi wasallam after mentioning their name in their posts. And this constant the prophet is not right.
I'd term it "Lack of respect" as true muslim -intentionaly or un-intentionaly- would not disrespect the prophet (peace be upon him and his family). Most of the people who visit the religion forum do care about their faith (thats why they are reading this out of all the gizzilion other things over the net!).Loving the prophet and his family is something that is the essence of the faith of Allah (swt).

Actually, disrespect would be to outright insult.
Otherwise, it's all about how you feel a person should be addressed. It's not diresepct, it's just not doing what you think someone should do (btw, saying something out of habit doesn't carry any weight).

It is true that those who do not send salutations upon Muhammad (SAW) are cursed, but it is not true that those who do not write the denotion in their posts are not sending their salutations. They could be doing it when they read the post or in the heart and mouth when writing it. To have it written is not part of the requirement.

if you respect someone, even if that is a prophet, you can always refer to him with whatever you think is right. dont try to force it down other peoples’ throats. they might have their own opinions.
Dear Brother If you want to study history please read Six Books of Ahadith , where most of the prophets are degrated by a lier writers… i can give you a clue about Prophet Mosa (pbuh) where he is described running naked behind a bloody sone, when he was taking bath. (Astaghfir Ullah)…
Please read and than go to bed and think…who are those , who degrating prophet Mphammad (pbuh) and all other prophets.
