Display my pic

I want to know that If I can display my picture in the avatar place.If I can do that myself , than let me know, How I can do that .Otherwise I have recently uploaded my latest picture in my profile , I want that It should be displayed in the avatar’s area .
So moderators kindly help me out . I will be really grateful.

whats this? such large pics in avatar?
