Re: Disobedient women of today
Of course, there is no denying the commands of Allah (s.w.t.), but you’ll find that ladies are skeptical because in certain cultures of the world, unfortunately we like to lean on the commandments of Quran for our own benefit, and often will exceed the limits. There exist in society the plight of women beating, and harassing wives for various reasons.
It goes both way. Both genders must take the ayahs of Quran as a whole, and live them with fear of Allah and fear of committing injustice.
Rasool Allah (s.a.w.) was embodiment of Quran in how he lived, and subhan Allah, his character is an example for us all. All of his wives loved him, and he loved them all to the best of his ability.
We all need to work on ourselves, and fear Allah because each of us have responsibility and duties towards each other. Lets not become so focused on reminding others’ their duties that we forget our own. It should be balanced.
