Disneyland Paris

Have you been there? I would like to hear how your experience was with Disneyland in Paris?

How many days are enough? We’re thinking 2 should be suffice.

Any hotels near by which we should consider or just stay in Paris and take the train to Disneyland?

Advice, suggestions, anything is welcome

Re: Disneyland Paris

I have been.

If you stay in one of the Disney hotels you get extra time in the parks. There's 2 parks - the Disneyland park and Walt Disney studios and then the village area with shops and restaurants. We did a full day at each park and stayed at the Disney Santa Fe Hotel which had a free shuttle bus connection to the parks.

Re: Disneyland Paris

I'm thinking the same - a full day at each park. I think I will look up the hotel you mentioned. Thank you :)

Re: Disneyland Paris

You're welcome :)

Re: Disneyland Paris

I went there and it was fun. Its easy to stay in Paris and go there by Train. The Disneyland Paris is good but the US ones are better.

Re: Disneyland Paris

Paris is closer for us :)

I'm wondering when to go, we're going for my son's 7th birthday. He's born 7-7-7 and is turning 7 so we want it to be a bit special but it's Ramadan then so thinking late august or maybe in april/may?

Re: Disneyland Paris

awwwww!! What an awesome DOB lol!!!

my twins are kind of similar...5-25-05 lol....too many 5's in there :D

Re: Disneyland Paris

Yes it is. He came 3 weeks before time :)

You know what? My nephew is born the same day as your twins :D And he has a lot of 5's in his CPR no as well (the unique digits system which we have here )

Re: Disneyland Paris

If you live in Europe then by all means, Disneyland Paris is not to be missed. It was the first Disney I ever went to and I did not live in the US at the time. April/ May is good, but don't know how rainy it would be in France.

Re: Disneyland Paris

I think your little boy will love disneyland Paris! ! We went a couple of years ago in august.

The weather was perfect!! Was very busy due to peak holiday time. We went for 4 days in total spent 2 days at disneyland both parks and 2 days sightseeing.
can't remember the name of the place we stayed it was self catering which is what we wanted
Next to the val d'europe shopping centre. Very handy as had a huge carre four supermarket and lots of shops! Also the train station was quite close. Most hotels have a free shuttle service to the parks
I ordered my park tickets online before we went was cheaper and saved waiting in the really long queues to get iin!
