“Jungle Book” is based on Rudyard Kipling’s “Mowgli”. And the reason that there are no africans in the movie is because the movie takes place in India !!!
Mowgli does meet up with other humans and they are Indian . He actually develops a crush on an Indian girl from a jungle village (I think thats in the sequel tho).
As for Tarzan, the whole point of the movie was that as a baby, there was a plane crash and the only survivor was a baby…baby was found by apes and raised by them. Tarzan does meet up with humans - both tribal africans and european hunters and he rejects both.
