Someone tell me abt a good dishwasher to get…my parents need one in their home and they are looking at Sears…They want a dishwasher that washes and dry’s the dishes…nothing too expensive…Something less than $350 plz suggest some good ones…and nothing too cheap either…

u may want to check out consumer reports. basic kithcen aid model should suffice otherwise

Have you considered hiring a Mexican? Call her in whenever you have a big load to wash and she'll charge you $5. One big function a week @ $5 over a year = $300. Buy her a gift with the $50 you save.

^ that is if she does a good job cleaning them...i have seen in PK ppl just rinsing the dishes and putting them away....so with a mexican i will have a $5 a week charge plus the cost of hospital bills for the amount of sick ppl due to germs...

look at epinions.com when you have shortlisted dishwashers to see what ppl are saying.
to get a general idea about dishwashers, here is a link for a chicago company, so not local to you but they do a good job of providing basic info on a large number of dishwashers

Ok so I came up with a few that I found some what good reviews on and just needed some opinions on brands that ppl have had personal experiences with. Right now we have a Kenmore (don't know what model) but it hasn't even lasted 5 years....only 3 to 4 years...I am sure dishwashers last longer than that right? But tell me what u think about these dishwashers as I list them. And tell me what u think is best. I kinda went over the price that I gave ...I think I can talk my dad into it.

the whirlpool that i chose is like 599 or so....does anyone know of a cheaper version of the samething? Something with less high tech stuff??? Maybe around $400 or $450
