Dishwasher Problem

Salam All

I have Haier HTV100WCT dishwasher installed in my rental home. Its lid of soap dispenser is not opening while washing so dishes are only rinsed. Anyone has idea??!! Plzz help

Read the manual, hopefully it has some instructions how to open the soap dispenser.

This usually happens when a) something from the utensil tray, like a chefs knife or large salan ka chamcha is blocking the spring mechanism so that it can’t open during the wash cycle b) residue from old detergent has accumulated and is interfering with the spring action 3) the trigger switch/mechanism is damaged

Thanks Khatti, I have determined the problem. Basically water drainage is blocked somewhere and water is not draining causing problem to whole cycle and it can relate to soap dispenser too. Its not my own dishwasher but belongs to the rental property we live in so I would talk to agent for fixation insha’Allah. Thanks and JazakAllah

I have this issue too, I just leave the lid open of the soap dispenser. This may not be optimal but works in the meantime.
