'Diseased' successful women

So now women wanting traditional roles are considered diseased… feminazis are now worried that too many women are trying to be ‘perfect wife’ :rotfl:

Perfect Wife Syndrome

*Sex on demand. Dinner on the table (or in front of the TV, if he prefers). Why, after decades of battling for equality, do some of Britain’s most successful women put their man’s needs first?
*

Caroline Lakeman, 39, has had a tough day. A successful barrister from Manchester, she’s barely had time to eat since breakfast and longs to just collapse in front of the TV with a ready meal.

Instead, the moment she arrives home, she showers, changes into a pretty wrap‑dress and makes sure the wine is chilling and a casserole is bubbling in the oven before her husband James, 40, arrives home from the office.

If he wants sex later, she’ll happily comply. They won’t discuss her day. Instead, Caroline will listen supportively while James recounts the details of what he did at work.

Caroline is suffering from what has been dubbed Perfect Wife Syndrome. She is one of a growing number of intelligent women in their 30s and 40s who put a man’s needs at the top of their priority list.

However successful their own well‑paid careers, these women embrace centuries-old marital values, employing man-pleasing methods that include having sex when they don’t feel like it, allowing their man to make all the decisions and ensuring they look their best at all times.

Re: 'Diseased' successful women

Hahaha this is hilarious!

Re: ‘Diseased’ successful women

So the moral of the story is … if you want to be a rich successful woman become a traditional house wife … !!!

:hypo:

Re: 'Diseased' successful women

The article is a fabrication of the OPs very fertile and creative mind.

Kindly do not take it seriously.

Re: 'Diseased' successful women

Re: 'Diseased' successful women

Strange how someone who has a problem with the Daily Mail loves to quote it so much..

Re: ‘Diseased’ successful women

Strange how someone who loves dailymail so much…doesn’t have anything to say on the topic :hehe:

Re: ‘Diseased’ successful women

NomiCA I had no idea you were a writer… :hehe:

PS…nothing on Daily Mail should EVER be taken seriously.

Re: 'Diseased' successful women

the irony in fertile and creative mind

Re: ‘Diseased’ successful women

Now isn’t that going a tad bit too far in rejecting DailyMail??

Re: ‘Diseased’ successful women

^ Not at all :hehe:

Re: ‘Diseased’ successful women

^ :hinna:

and here i thought i had stumbled onto the treasurechest of all the ‘wisdom’…:nahi:

Re: ‘Diseased’ successful women

That’s cos I’m not obsessed with the subject of feminism, working women etc.. If women choose to work or stay at home I can’t see the problem (unlike you).. Each to their own..

Funny you say I ‘love’ it when you seem to quote from it as much, if not more, all the while saying it can’t be taken seriously, is too biased etc, well except when it suits you

Re: 'Diseased' successful women

It's so amazing how men jump at any article or new "research" that suggests that somehow feminism has failed.

Re: ‘Diseased’ successful women

I am not going to talk about your obsessions here now…:hehe:

PS… you still didn’t have anything to say on the topic?? and when did i quote it ‘so much’??
