Discussion on jins, ghosts, spirits and angles

Re: Discussion on jins, ghosts, spirits and angles

Funny thing in a Law class, we were talking about the real estate law and I asked the instructor what happens if the house is you know possessed ....so according to most states it is not required to disclose the "jinnat living there history" of a house as according to the courts there is no such thing as jinnat:)...unless the previous owners advertize it as being a haunted house :D

Jins are mentioned in Quran countless time, but there is nothing about jins either in Christianity or in Jewish religion. However, most Christians and Jews believe in spirits. So, my question is are jins, ghosts and spirits same, if not what is the diff.? quote]

In my opinion, the fact that Christians and Jews do not speak of the Jinnat in their religions is because of their dislike of the Babylonians who worshiped them. The famous new-age author, Carlos Castaneda, wrote about the Jinnat but called them "inorganic beings." Since most of his readers were not Muslim, they found his stories to be the most unique and wondrous tales they had ever heard, the race of beings mentioned in the Quran were completely unknown to them. I think that Jinnat are responsible for most supernatural occurrences in the world, ghosts, spirits, haunted houses, even UFO sightings and "alien" abductions.

I personally have met a jinn or two, and I can tell you that they have no respect for any of men's words except those found in the Quran. Awhile back, I attempted to meet a Jinn by using "lucid dreaming" as Carlos Castaneda had suggested. After many months of trying, I finally succeeded and was greeted by a Jinn. The first thing that it showed me was how a jinn could impersonate most people that we know in real life, in our dreams. They enjoy disguising themselves as close relatives or somebody who has passed away, but they can only do this in dreams. They are very weird. I tried to understand why they would do such a thing but the Jinn didn't make sense to me.

When I tell people who are into new-age stuff like shamanism that their "spirit helper" is really a Jinn that lives in Hell, boy do they get mad.
