now your bringing in countries, we're only talkin 'hinduism' here..
Really, then I wonder why they felt the need for a separate homeland so that they can practise their religion in peace.

what about goddess durga matta and how in kathmandu there is a girl {preeti shakya} revered by Hindus and Buddhists as the current living goddess and incarnation of goddess durga matta.
do the hindu's and buddhists believe in this or is it a myth?
how come you converted only after defeat by bin qasim?
I like the idea of re-incarnation. In Islam we believe in that also. We are still waiting for Hazrat Isa Elehe Salam (Jesus my Man the Christ) to re-incarnate. Islam and Hinduism are more alike than not.

I think the concept of re-incarnation appeals especially to people who fail to be successful in life. All they want is one more shot to resurrect their pitiful existence.
^ yeah, like Hazrat Isa. And some idiots have been waiting for his arrival so impatiently.

You are right, Hazrat Isa will never be re-incarnated. The reason is simple, he never died.
OK. So now we add a new dimension. A man can live for over 2000 years. . Hey, wana buy Brooklyn Bridge? I will give you a discount.
Skhan, are you suggesting that it’s OK to question myths as long as they are non-Muslim myths?

I think it would be pretty stupid to question a myth considering that it is defined as something fictional.
edit: double post.

i am going off topic but since u call urself a muslim (or atleast i think u call urself a muslim) then u wud have read about uzair (as) in the Quran.....
or about the 'people of the cave'....
maybe u missed them....
read again carefully and u will know how Allah has the power to keep someone in a hypernating sort of stage for long periods....
btw, do u also believe that Isa (as) was born without a father or u dont believe in myths and think his mother was playing hanky panky????
Does Allah has a power to re-incarnate people? Or is he powerless?

Yes Isa had a father like the rest of us. Do you not know the The Father the Son and the Holy Ghost?
Guys, please do not derail the discussion at hand. Thanks.
