I see there are more problems than benfits. Being short means you have to be extra slim and in shape than normal people, a tall woman can be size 16 and still look normal but short women have to put extra effort to look slim and nice at the same time.
Another problem; When you're out shopping and you can't reach the top shelf even if you're wearing high heels, and some other taller person comes to help you(this is just embarrassing and funny). lol

i have always noticed that short girls always look very young. my friend is 4 ft 11 in and she is 26 but doesn't look a day older than 20. i know another person she has 3 kids and she is also around 5 ft and her age must be around 33 and she looks like she is 24. i think that is just ALLATHALA's way of keeping the balance. maybe?

for short people ... u can sleep on the couch ... there are very few couches that are made for tall people ... go bus (toronto thing) seating sucks for anyone over 5'10 ... buying jeans if you're tall and skinny is a really hard task

Hmmm...Im 5'3 but I dont consider myself short at all. I think Im pretty normal height-wise. Though I will admit, I am rarely spotted without heels at least 2.5 inches.
Benefits:
Most men are taller so there is a larger pool to choose from.
You always get people to help you reach things easily.
Cons:
You always need someoen to help you reach things
You look chubby even with a little bit of weight
You have to wear heels otherwise you always look like the small person in pictures

everyone thinks ur younger than u actually are. im just under 5'4 and ppl cnt believe i've finished uni lol. i get asked for id for 18 cert movies. one of my friends is 5 ft and ppl actually think she is only 16.

You're quite right...5ft 3" is not considered short specially among Asians. It should be anyone 5ft 2" or under.
