For some reason I got this info back from the system which in my opinion shouldn’t be sent out as it does raises some privacy issues, here’s the message I received
Messages to the following users were sent sucessfully:
User1 (54 messages in folder)
User2 (57 messages in folder)
User3 (0 messages in folder) [email notification sent]
User4 (40 messages in folder)
Your message could not be delivered to the following users…
User5 (60 messages in folder)
…because their mail boxes are full, and can accept no further messages.
The users have been notified of the problem by email.

Azkar Lala, one thing leads to another... First of all how many PMs you have in your inbox is your private info, if your private information is being sent to another user then its like calling for more trouble..., other person (who knows your info) could block your inbox by sending you more PMs. Once your quota is full you may not be able to receive further PMs. Ho sakta hay the next few PMs could be very important to you and you may not be able to view your inbox for few more hours. Disclosing any such information could make us vulnerable to stalking too cause someone could track how many messages you are receiving per day. And who knows ke kon kon tumhari taar mein laga howa hay.
All in all my PMs and their count is private info and one should not be seeing this info without prior permission with the exception of system administrator like Who---Me (waisay yeh Who---Me bharosay wala banda tu hay na?? kuch nahi bus yonhi pooch raha tha :D).
Conceptually speaking, if I know your Hotmail or any free webmail address, I can get it blocked too, by sending you three emails, without bothering to know how many emails you have in there already. Howz that for the important email you were expecting? :)

Yaar Faisal Badshah. I guess one is enough to block all the .com accounts (if you know what I mean ;)) but merijaan we are taking about disclosure of numbers here, abhi Hotmale ko thora daba kay raho ;)
ps! Its for all! plz always look at the positive side of every thing, don’t pick on any one, its just a request, no one here is less than any one, just matter of showing off,
I dunno if made any sense or not, must go to sleep

some request for pm box!
as mod or admins can go into our account and can edit and go into profile ?

No. mods or admin cant go into your account. Its much like NT Server accounts, there is an administrator interface where we can add delete edit accounts. Admins cannot see passwords even if they wanted to. And no, they cant see your PMs or Private chats on Digi Chat.
If you know about System administration (be it NT, Unix, Linux, Gupshup ;-)), all these are very standard practices.

Lalay di jaan, As an Exchange Server Administrator, I can drill down deep into my clients account and as for digging the profile has concerned SMS Admin is capable enough to do that as well. You are running that NT/Unix/Linux and this BB and on the other hand I am running Windows 2000 Advance Server, Exchange Server and respective app. for my private office… so we both know what we are talking about. You can draw a moral line for yourself for keeping privacy of your clients intact.... but nothing is impossible sarkar. Am I right? :)
Enough said, lets get back to topic please, I requested a very simple thing "Hide My Private info" and that's it.
bhai mere, lets define what we want to talk about. Do mods and admins of Gupshup have access to Private Messages (with any amount to 'drilling')? The answer is NO.
No one, except a couple of people, has access to the raw data. And those people couldnt care less about you or any other guppy.
If you want the PM count to be removed, we can look into it. Anything else?
Salman .. the original issue that you raised here does not warrant any serious talk .. this is a prime example of 'ball ke khaal utarna' .. leave the ball alone this time .. jao or koye or kaam ke baat dhoond kay lao .. which often you do ... this time, i am sending the case to /dev/null.

LOL @ /dev/null
Azkar, yaar, I presume you don't want people see how many PMs you have in your inbox either. Well, seriously, I do appreciate the fact that its all provided for free but meray bhai all I am asking for... is to hide that information from other users and make it more fool proof. Have you ever seen such a thing with paid or free mail services? Probably not!!!
Chalo khair Anyway, issues to buhut hain magar I only touch on those, which I think affect the users or their privacy level directly. For example I have problems, since day one, with search engine but I never raised any question/comments. Cause jo hay main us per Allah ka shukar kar kay guzara kar rahan hon. In my opinion it’s only me who is affected with it so why should I make a fuss for nothing. Aur haan agar kisi nay future mein search engine ka issue uthaya tu I will share my concerns too. Lekin jub tak yeh masla nahi uthta mein chup betha hon.
Last but not least… Aik khass baat, how much privacy and trust is involved between GS Team and Users I never talked about it..., cause I trust you guys! Ab batao is say ziyada aur kiya keh sakta hon?
