^You remind me of a poster called "Jaanwar".
Where is the proof that we are as good as the previous generations at reading, writing and holding conversations?
Okay before I proceed further with this ever so interesting conversation of which hen lays the whitest egg. I would like you to elaborate on how exactly I remind you of:-
1) A poster (rolls eyes)
2) Jaanwar (rolls eyes again)
Furthermore, I'm not here to pick a fight, and well even if you meant "good" which I'm sure you did in all sarcastic manner, this is not really nice :)
Now to the point where you want "proof" as to how we're good in reading, writing and conversations. If you analyze the factor here, if we stop to believe that something does exist, it ceases to exist. Just like pain. Pain is an illusion. If you feel it, it hurts. If you take your mind off it and wander off into the endless world of possibilities you don't.
Many great writers did many great things in this generation. Many people study many different great writers from all times, and as far as conversations go. I speak for lots of people here when I say that we CAN carry off a decent conversation without being :-
1) extremely proud of our dad's bank balance
2) of the fact that we know English
3) bad at grammar.
Now only if you view the situation at hand from a different perception and not the silly stereotypes we practically grew up following, I think what I said would make sense..
Crossed fingers and high hopes :)
