The concept of being classy doesn't exist anymore for guys or girls. Severe lack of grace, good taste in behavior, intelligence and confidence. Another issue is the lack of role models, some of these people don't have good examples including their parents. The parents are off either too busy chasing money, being backwards, or hating each other, the kids see that and emulated in their own way which is being vulgar/immoral.
Being a 20 something myself, I look up to people who are older and have themselves put together, not just career wise but maturity and behavior etc.
I've experienced friends becoming more westernized/party people and as a result of their behaviour, I have distanced myself from them. Our meets and phone calls have been reduced to the occasional e-mail/fb msg. I'm sad that it came down to distancing myself from them, but their lifestyle doesn't match mine. There was a lecture on friendship/companions and in that lecture, the scholar gave examples of how if your friends are bad, they will lead you down that path..you will inevitably do something bad. But, if you surround yourself with good people, you will do good things and be a better person. I totally believe this to be true as I have had first hand experience with both kinds of people and I have seen what their impact were on my life.
