Disabled

Re: Disabled

I know a woman that's in her forties and she has a dummy hand, she works and everything but is still unmarried.
It's a shame really, she's pari likhi, not great looking but totally sweet.
Personally, if I loved the guy then yes. Not in an arranged marriage.
WARNING-about to ramble
I read a book where a girl falls in love with this guy who can't speak, it's set ages ago so the people thought he had a demon in him and beat him up whenever they saw him. She basically protected him and taught him sign language etc, it was such a sweet novel. Read it when I was quite young so it's been my idea of true love.

Re: Disabled

Think of this way, it would not be so difficult to marry a blind if the person marrying a blind is not so good looking. :hehe:

You can make up deaf and mute scenario too.

To answer the question it all depends on situation.
Marriage means some form of compatibility, so something needs to be compatible (mental or physical) for life long relationship.

Re: Disabled

I hate to say it but i dont think i would unless i already loved that person or had known them a long time and considered them to be a great person.
i have a great aunt who's blind, never married. but also a khala who has twisted limbs from birth, she's married with 2 grown up sons and very independent, currently lives by herself (hubby passed away some years ago).

Re: Disabled

No because if I was in that situation i'm sure most of the guys would say the same.
