Absolutely not. It is not fair when I get infarction points over making some generalized statement that isn't even necessarily attacking a given person, but these guys have very flagrant attacks and no one edits their posts or cleans up the thread.
It derails threads. It attracts chichorapan type Pakistanis to this site.
There are lots of Pakistani sites where you can play Fight Club to vent out your loser-ville life on the internet, and I think GS prides itslef on not being the typical AOL-chat room a/s/l type places. When you allow for personal attacks, you turn the place from a classy Bar-B-Q-Tonight to Bundoo Khan's cholera-inducing fly-poop-location Kababs.
I am surprised to hear you complaining, I thought that was the intent of your threads, to rile up people, mess with the guys here and so on. did not know that you actually took your queries that seriously, last few threads of yours have had kinda chichora typ questions, no offence, so yes it will get you answers in the same category too. you are hardly a victim, you know all the right buttons to push :)
secondly, I think you get pretty offensive too, you usually start off your threads in a very attacking, accusatory 'generalized' way so yes that sets the mood for the entire thread and people respond in the same manner.
