Anyone else wear glasses around here? I hate it when they get dirty. It’s my biggest pet peeve. God knows when they get like that, and when they do it’s like it annoys my eyes! It’s like there is something in front of me and I can’t just move my head and it goes away :mad:

What’s your solution to such a serious problem?

breath on your glasses couple of times and wipe it up with your shirt

you can also use the little cloth that comes with the scratch guard for tablets and phones… those are very efficient in cleaning glass surfaces

Mine has plastic lenses. I was told that the best way to clean is to gently wash it with soap and water, and let it air dry for few mins.

It doesn’t work :bummer: That used to be my go to for ages, until it clicked it just made things dirtier.

We have this like, little spray, but it’s soooooooooo far away. And the tissues my mom has at home SUCK. The rougher the tissue paper, the better they clean the glasses I say :maroush:

Yeah, but like…that gets lost SO quick SO fast. Unless I pin it to my clothes like a kindergartener’s homework :blush:

Yes, just wash it water or soap water. My solution is to just apply mouth steam and clean or may be do some thoo-thoo and wipe from tissue :slight_smile:

Eww ganda!

btw, you’re not supposed to use soap on your glasses. It washes off the speshul coating that costs $14354574. Learned it the hard way :hinna:

These days you hardly get glass lenses, unless you’ve got a very small prescription. Plus, can you imagine someone with like a -6 precription and glass lenses? That poor guy’s glasses would weigh 5 kilos!

Another glasses problem: whenever I lose my glasses and I’m not wearing my contacts I’m forced to walk around squinting suspiciously at everything to find them,

After months of wearing just contacts, I’m finally got a new pair of frames and lenses! Im not sure what coating this has, but it gets so easily smudged by my finger tips. I love how the world looks once I keep it clean!!

I don’t lose them, i usually break them…by stepping on them while looking for where i put em :-\

Me, and I wipe them every morning. Though I forget to clean them sometimes then DIY solution comes in handy :stuck_out_tongue:

I just used to clean it with my shirt or run it under a tap and then clean it with my shirt. It used to irk me more when you get a small mark on the lens cause that pretty much ruins it all. It’s like you got a mark in your eye blurring your vision and glasses ain’t cheap to keep letting them get scratched.

oh god yes. like i have a mini heart attack if i can’t find my glasses within 0.000003 seconds :hayaa:

how did you survive wearing contacts for so long?? my eyes hate my contacts after a few hours. i just neeeeeeeeed my glasses then.

i wish i could be wearing a tshirt all the time. but noooo girl’s clothes have to be fancy materials that just are useless for wiping glasses :mad:
