I am thinking of getting my hair dip dyed. I have naturally black hair. Any ideas/suggestions on what would look good for desi people with dark hair?
I’ve seen a desi friend of mine have it dip dyed blonde - it looked lovely. But her hair is dark brown, not black.

It looks nice only problem is after a while you will hate it. My little sister has ombres done and the ends will go alot lighter, reds will fade quick and go gingery. Opt for some highlights subtle ones they give the hair an instant lift
Also when u feel like trimming your hair youl just want to hack the blond bits off! I had this style done wen i was like17 and got fed up of it.

I did mine purpley red...it soon faded to ginger. Then I cut it off!
If you want it more natural looking go for brown.

Looks like the ombre style. Am I the only one that's not crazy about this look...which looks like dye fading?

The only ombre style I really liked was this random girl I saw once with shocking pink hair fading into deep purple

^I dyed my hair a reddish brown two years ago...maybe even more than that. My roots grew out and so only the ends of my hair were brown while the top was black. I went go get it trimmed and the stylist said it looked like the ombre look. I'm not too fond of it cuz it really does look dye fading out.

but it's supposed to look like that RV! I've seen it look lovely on some people... and others, it just looks blughh! I'm apprehensive cus I'm going to get my hair cut for the first time in about five years, and I want a nice change so it looks different, but an all-over colour would be too drastic for me, hence my leaning towards dip dye.
worst comes to worst if it turns out terrible I will dye my whole hair black again.
