Diorshow

Re: Diorshow

^Ok just went to check the name of the mascara.. sorry I got confoosed.. its Loreal Volume Express Turbo Boost, not Voluminous. Im gonna go and try voluminous now after all this hype :hmmm: And the blackout too.

Im still a bit disappointed with diorshow, I really thought it’d be amazing or out of this world, and I didnt get that.

To the person who asked about lash curlers.. no I dont use em. They look like a scary surgical tool or something. No way am I putting that near my eye! :hayaa:

Re: Diorshow

I heard it is amazing!

LOOKS CREATED WITH DOIRSHOW MASCARA:

To create the ultimate smoky eye look, use Diorshow Mascara first to thicken your lashes. Next, apply Diorshow Unlimited Mascara to separate and lengthen. Smudge Crayon Eyeliner, along your upper lash line to finish off this sultry look and get ready to smolder.

Pounce on the captivating cat eye look by applying Diorshow Iconic Mascara first, followed by a coat of Diorshow Black Out Mascara. Next, line your upper lids with Style Liner in Noir Black 094, extending slightly upward and outward at the outer edges of your eyes. Voila—the purrrfect cat eye!

Re: Diorshow

riya, no, man, try the lash curler! its a really handy tool and boy, does it work wonders! i can't live without mine.... well ok i could :p but i'd miss it a LOT.

Aww, Riya you’re missing out. Lash curlers DEFINITELY HELP. Shu Umera’s is seriously a miracle device. Why not go to a makeup counter/Sephora and see if you at least like the effect?

Re: Diorshow

sephora psshaw, go to walmart! a $25 lash curler will do the same thing a $6 one will!

Re: Diorshow

i dun get it :konfused: i get the same look at this using my NYC protein mascara, if i use like 3 coats. so what’s the big deal? (for special days i use the l’oreal volumizing one)

Re: Diorshow

^ I think me and you might naturally just have thicker longer lashes thats why we dont see what the craze is? I dunno… I feel like I wasted my money :bummer: But Im gonna make another attempt at getting the most of my money and just go try the lash curler and see if it creates that fake lash look… I really want it!

Re: Diorshow

The mascara is very nice and the only one I would say that is close to competing with Loreal's Voluminous mascara. Its good at separating lashes and smells divine but you need a lot of coats to get that come-hither look.

I say you will get good results with Loreal's Voluminous...why spend $25 when you can get away with spending $7?

Re: Diorshow

I used to LOVE Diorshow but the formula seems a bit 'off' to me now. Used to prefer those mini editions u get on Ebay to the regular sized versions cos I found the little stumpy brush really nice to use. I know a lot of people prefer YSL faux cils to Diorshow so u might like to try that. It's not as gloopy (personally I like gloopy mascaras tho) so doesn't clump. Like others have already said L'Oreal Voluminous is a great alternative, I also liked Maybelline Volume Express and Max Factor 2000 Calorie used to be a real favourite with magazine beauty editors before Diorshow came along.
