Are dinosaurs mentioned in the Holy Quran? If so, please quote verses. Thanks.
Quran 24:45
*And Allah has created every animal from water: of them there are some that creep on their bellies; some that walk on two legs; and some that walk on four. Allah creates what He wills: for verily Allah has power over all things. *
see if they fit in somewhere :p
There’s this joke of a guy who was happy that his name had been published in a newspaper, and when they asked him where it was, he showed them the statement, “There are 150 million people in Pakistan” and argued that the number included him!
Armughal, you have done something similar by saying ‘‘every animal’’ includes dinosaurs. ![]()
Re: Dinosaurs
There is no such thing thats not present in Quran. But the question is how well do we know Quran.
Once I think a Sahabi, claimed that he can find lost camels, from Quran.
I hope you got my point.

Dinosaurs were not just any other animal race. It is a confirmed fact, that these prehistoric creatures dominated the earth. Their extinction is not a trivial matter, like that of some species of bird, animal or insect that disappeared of the face of the earth because of human action or natural selection, however, nature chose to eliminate them entirely. Should then these prehistoric giants be included in count with all animals in general?
Yes it does make a big difference.
It’s like saying when we do a census of the world population; lets not include New York, Toronto, London, Beijing, Karachi & Bombay.
