Re: dinner sets

If you live abroad and are visiting Pakistan, then I would recommend a visit to the Duty Free Shop, near Sharah-e-Faisal. They have a large number of imported items, including full dinner sets aas well as local stuff.

Also, depending on budget, there's a new shop that I came across at the Forum. It only sells dinner/tea sets and is located on the ground floor, but the entrance is on the outside of the building, at the front. It had some beautifully crafter sets and I wish I had the money to purchase a few.

thanks...do you remember the name of the shop at the forums..wat was their price range?

where is the duty free shop? sharah e -faisal? never heard of this place..where it is?

thanks mahi..wil difinately check them out

I'm sorry, I don't remember the name of the shop, but there is only a single shop with these sets on the outside entrance to the forum. I think for dinner sets, they were priced from 15,000 RPS - 45,000 RPS depending on the intricacy of the designs and were 80 piece - 90 piece sets.

Shopping from the duty free shop is avaiable to foreigners/locals who travel/come from abroad. Sharah -e- faisal is a well known commercial/business area in Karachi and you would definitely pass through it if you travel from the Airport into the main city. Not sure what the name of the long stretch road is from the airport into the city, but it's on there. Plus the locals in the Sharah-faisal-area know of the shop as well.

anyone bought dinner sets from ebco or table de art

anyone know their price range
