i'm sure there's something in that. i haven't really seen much personally but i went to Karma Pink when i was in Lahore and i was distinctly unimpressed; the outfits weren't nice close up.
for my own wedding i really like a HSY design but i could never afford it since i'm buying my wedding lengha myself. but my friend lives in lahore and is really well off, her cousins/friends have had various outfits - designers and copies - and she told me that honestly, even if i could afford it to go with someone who will do a bangin' copy of a HSY design rather than waste money on the real thing. she also warned me about the less well known designer's and said most of them have bigger ego's than people like HSY.
this is my bridals picture,and it is just so beautiful,believe me their work is so much better than karma or hsy and reasonable too.i know her from last ten years she just can't be rude its impossible.
Marena, that outfit is gorgeous! Instead of getting one outfit made from karma/hsy why don't u get a couple of their semi-formals they're extremely pretty!

yeh, she was surprised to hear that as well.....it's all heresay,but i had to let her know coz my inlaws are gonna point fingers at me so i told her to be careful......i'm not there otherwise this would have been soooooo much easir
i think hsy/karma and the other top designers out there all have their various strengths and specific styles that they can do/cannot do. so in the end, its up to you to decide what you love and what you don't. i haven't seen any of them upclose but iA this december i'll be visiting them all and i'll get a better idea. until then, i refuse to believe karma is anything less than stellar :p
yeah… i agree. honestly i dun like some of HSY’s wedding dresses like the one which Tahira’s daughter wore… gosh it was so gawdy, and such a cheap design. I mean the whole dress was full of embrodiery… and there was not even a small breathing space. I think the dress is pretty… and then again, dun forget ke “hazaroo khwahishein aisi ke har khwahish pe dam nikle”. You will like HSY dress then you will like Karma… then back to Khadeeja… its a cycle.. human beings are never satisfied and want more… cheer up!
