Femme, I can't do that! I can only go to NY in August bcuz of my sisters holiday and the wedding is probably at the same time bah!

Anyhow, I just heard the weddingdate isn't finalised yet. I know my family, they're probably going to change another zillion times :-/
I'll just book for NY and will see abt Pakistan. or maybe...... ukh!

eugh i hate these sticky complications

get this, i had to cut my holidays short bcos someone cant get enough leave :(

and i so wanted to spend some quality time with my cousins shopping etc but its just way out of the question now!

Looks like I’m gonna book for Pakistan. SPoke to my cousin last night and she said it was 90% sure about August :-/

Xara, ur right about depending on other ppl. I want to stay at least 2 weeks in NY.

If its only for 6-10 days, I'd say go to Pakistan. You need 2 weeks or so to absorb the NY effect. And in the Winter, even though the comments about the lights was true in NY, but how can one enjoy that when one's ass is frozen solid and one's feet are frost-bitten.
I second the suggestion about coming to NY and then throw a tantrum about Pakistan. Win-win situation.

I just talked to my sis and she said it's ok if I want to go to Pakistan. SHe's not going to cancel her programme and will take along a friend. :)
She even made me a list of things she wants me to get for her from there :-/

SO looks like it's going to be Pakistan afterall! Just need to call my khala and confirm the date for the wedding.

You have a whole life to visit New York, wedding once missed is out of ur life. My vote is going to Pakistan.

Shinno, all along I was for Pakistan but I didnt wanted to influence your decision, so its good to hear that you are going there.

As for your information, USA might be making a policy to make all countries, that normally don't need a tourist visa to visit (EU citizens ect) to get their fingerprints and their pictures scanned upon entering the US.

I think this sucks!! I wanted to go to NY sometime in the future but if they apply this policy, I will not go there, ever.
