It's so strange... I am so close to my brother that I would be honest and say "Dude, I don't like your cooking" and because we are so close, my brother would say "fine, cook yourself and make me something while you're at it."
I don't understand this type of hypersensitivity and "takalluf" with your own sibling.

nadeemnirvana: I agree with aahmed on this one, just be honest with her and say you want to cook your own food…
I know some people can be control freaks and become tyrants in the kitchen…but let’s leave that to the Gordon Ramsays of the world…she’s just rustling up some grub and you want to do it yourself…it’s nice that you don’t want to hurt her feelings, but it’s best just to be straight with her…she might even end up liking your food so much that you might regret all of this 
Or take it in turns, so no-one feels hard done by or dictated on…
Plus send me some food too, I’m hungry now
