so we decided to do a champagne shirt with red dupatta & lehnga…

champagne and red is gorgeous! since they’re hyderabadi, if she’s lucky to receive a jadao lacha with emeralds and kundan from her inlaws, she should totally wear it with a saat lara maybe. love the hint of green on a champ/red jora. the contrast would be much more mod than matching.

Sadly, my Khala’s house was broken into a few years back and ALL her zevar was stolen! Salay kameenon nay aik bunda tak nahin chora! Khala ki jarao lacha, satlara, jhoomar sab chori hogayee..they had been collecting some gold biscuits as well, since she’s their only daughter…ALL GONE!! It’s so sad, unko hazaar baar kahaa kay bank main locker laylo..I really hope her saas gifts her some traditional stuff!
