Dil Pardesi Ho Gayaa, is a love story of an Indian boy with a Pakistani girl. Together with the love side of the story, the narration has a strong patriotic feel. DPHG is about this young man Sunny (Kapil Jhaveri) trapped by emotions crosses the border and lands in Pakistan. His elder brother; an army officer is been taken to Pakistan and Sunny sets out to rescue him from the Pakistaniz . There he encounters Rukhsar (Saloni Aswani) who was trapped in the fire to save the life of a child, he jumps in the fire, and, saves both of them. He again encounters Rukhsar in a party and their love blossoms… And one day. She asks him to marry her. At this juncture he reveals his identity that he is an Indian and he has come to Pakistan for a mission that shocks Rukhsar. But Sunny’s mission concerns Rukhsar’s father (Amrish Puri) the man of great principals and morals who is a brigadier in Pakistani army. She feels the sky has fallen on her and her dreams are crushed…
