Dil nahi maanta is another softy made just for the lovers of Soft music! The song is just a heart melting number that will sound wonderful on a long drive at the time of sunset. There isn’t a lot to say about this song. First of all I have to say that the vocals in the song are very much a blend of Shiraz Uppal and Junaid Jamshed. The composition is strongly sensitive, the flute, The light tablas, and the light acoustic guitar work. Lyrics are nothing very uncommon, but there is a lot of unvarnished corners and that do effect the seriousness of the song at some extent. The sweetness though is unmistakeable. this is a sweet addition in my collection and would be in yours too. this is one of those songs that you just have to hear with an open heart and in a thinking whimsical mood, though! Dil nahi Maanta.
A thumbs up for Yousaf, Nouman and Pappu! A satisfactory attempt indeed!
