Dil ki chokhat pe ek deep jala rakha hai

Tere laut aane ka imkaan saja rakha hai

Saans tak bhi nahin lete hain tujhe sochte waqt
Hum ne is kaam ko bhi kal pe utha rakha hai

Rooth jaate ho to kuch aur haseen lagte ho

Hum ne yah soch ke hi tum ko khafa rakha hai

Tum jise rota hua chhorr gaey the ek din
Hum ne us shaam ko seeney se laga rakha hai

Chein lene nahin deta yeh kisi tor mujhe

Teri yaadon ne jo toofaan utha rakha hai

Jaane waale ne kaha tha ke woh laut aaey ga zaroor
Ek isi aas pe darwaaza khula rakha hai

Tere jaane se jo ek dhool uthi thi ghum ki

Hum ne us dhool ko aankhon mein bassa rakha hai

Mujh ko kal shaam se woh bohat yaad aane laga
Dil ne muddat se jo ek shaks bhula rakha hai

Aakhri baar jo aaya tha mere naam

Mein ne is khat ko kalejey se laga rakha hai
