:) a very common misconception!! you can always set the picture size from camera settings.. 5M doesn't mean it will use all the 5M of CCD to capture image!! if you set it to basic it will use about 1.2M of it which is same as any 3.2M camera. and no it Woun't effect the iamge quality.

oh ok ... so which one I am going to buy.. umm I guess Sony!

Thanx for helping me out and sorry for asking so many questions!

1st thing.. who told you that 256M card will store only 100 pics!!! I am using 6M Effective camera since 2001 and the largest file size stored is about 800K which means I can store around 350 pics with max resolution, in a 256MB card..

PS: DON’T confuse MegaPixels with MegaBytes

The battries Canon is using is made for only certain type of camers, hence not easily available + costs more..

you can buy rechargeble AA size battries in few bucks anywhere!! even from a Paan shop in Pakistan .. :hehe:

I would suggest go for sony

its alright.. now I got one more point to add in my guide :hehe:

eeek ok.. I was just being an efficient and checking out this table without even thinking its talking about Megabytes.. my bad

Thank you sooo much!

:k: good luck
